¿Thinking about starting automating all your Campaigns with LandingTrack and TrafficJunky?

The power of automation between TrafficJunky and LandingTrack will boost your daily activity, increase your CTR, save time, and definitely money.

Automation has come to help all of us to be more efficient in our daily work. Bots are actually made to help us, to do the hard task, and make our work easier. The integration between TrafficJunky and LandingTrack will definitely make a difference in your Marketing Campaigns.

STEP 1 — Adding TrafficJunky as Traffic Source

On the Menu side click on Traffic Source

Select the option of Integrated DSP:

Look for TrafficJunky. In order to connect with them, you will need to fill only one field

  • Your TrafficJunky API KEY

¿Where can I get those Credentials on TrafficJunky?

On TrafficJunky Dashboard check on the right side of the screen and click on your Profile name:

Scroll down till the end and you will find your TrafficJunky API TOKEN. If you do not see it just click on Generate New Token.

As simple as Copy & Paste

Green Check¡ meaning that we are fully Integrated with TrafficJunky.

We will suggest you add some more steps such us

URL Tokens

Now that we are synchronized with TrafficJunky let’s have a look on > Edit button.

The following Parameters and Tokens will be provided by default for each TrafficJunky URL :

&p=trafficjunky&s={SpotID}&bid={BidValue}&pid={AdID}&cmp={CampaignID}&b={BanID}

  • s={SpotID} — (the one need it in order to track the site)
  • bid={BidValue} — The cost of the visit (how much you pay for a click)
  • cpm={CampaignID} — ID of the Campaign.
  • b={BanID} — ID of the banner displayed.
  • pid={AdID} — Clickid for the postback

POSTBACK:

On TrafficJunky menu side, just click on tools and right after that CONVERSION TRACKING

We will need to create + NEW TRACKER.

We just need to fill the fields — at least the mandatory ones — Check the *EVENT type as they have more than one.

Here it is our lovely postback. We just need to click on > VIEW CODE

On the HTML VERSION — select what we have highlighted in blue and COPY it.

In case is not clear for you it should look like this and delete the part &cb=
[RANDOM_NUMBER]

Back on LandingTrack, let’s set it up!

Let’s go to Traffic Source and click on button EDIT and then select the Outgoing Postback.

Check this postback — it has already LandingTrack {{TOKENS}}

And that would be all for the postback side.

STEP 2 — Creating a campaign (Dimension) on LandingTrack

Remember you have three different ways to create a dimension.

1- From an existing FLow — see how

2- From Menu side > Offer — see how

3- From Dimension Menu: see bellow

Click on button > New Dimension

You will be redirected to our Dimension creator.

First, we will recommend you to click on the pencil right bellow the bucket to add your Campaign Name, at the same time you will see displayed all your offers with the name and status (right side), click on the left arrow button to add them to your Dimension.

As you can see, now we have added two offer on our dimension and if we like to add more we just need to click on the left arrow next to the offer “Play Sweeptakes US_cpa”

— Getting the URL for TrafficJunky:

On your Dimension Profile > Click on button > + Get Campaign URL and select TrafficJunky as your traffic source, then select you can pick the following option:

  • Banner Token (Check it always as you will be running Push a Native)
  • Encrypt Portal name (Check it so nobody will know where you run your ads)

Next step will be selecting your domain and your Traffic Segment;

Finally, copy the name and URL we provide you with:

IMPORTANT: Copy the Full name that we provide you with and the Full URL

STEP 3 — Creating a campaign on TrafficJunky

I guess the first thing to do here will be logging into your TrafficJunky Account so, let’s do it!

On the left side of the platform, you will see the Menu, but in this case, we will click right bellow DASHBOARD on CREATE NEW CAMPAIGN

We Must use LandingTrack name — no other — only the one we provide you with and also the Campaign URL we provide you with.

Then select the Advertising format:

  • Regular
  • Canabis
  • Popunder

Right after that we can shedule our campaign or just skipp that section

TrafficJunky has a cool option for retargeting, if you are not familiar with this we will strengthen you recommend you to ask them — retargeting is one of the most effective tools for online marketing.

And finally, we should set up our targeting plan, which device, browser, Operating system...

Once you save & continue we will have to start adding our creatives, select your Ad format, and the dimension of your ad.

Important: Add LandingTrack Campaign URL.

Once you have added your Campaign URL go straight to add your creatives.

You can always edit your tracking URLpero creative (banner)

Once you save & continue we will be selecting our SPOTS.

TrafficJunky allows you to modify it’s suggested bid per spot.

And finally, set you your Campaign budget.

Remember LandingTrack will be checking your daily and total lost ;)

We have finish to create our first campaign and this is how it look.

As you should know by now, we must synchronize our TrafficJunky campaign with our Dimension in LandingTrack, for that copy the Campaign ID provide by TJ and go to your Dimension Profile

Click on button SYNC — Select TrafficJunky and paste the ID after that.

And now our Campaign has been sync to our Dimension. We can easily recognize that because

1- TrafficJunky has the green check: SYNC

2- The campaign has the status: PAUSED/APPROVED/OUTOFBALANCE etc..
