The power of automation between TONIC and LandingTrack will boost your daily activity, increase your CTR, save time and definitely money.

Automation has come to help all of us to be more efficient in our daily work. Bots are actually made to help us, to do the hard task and make our work easier. The integration between TONIC and LandingTrack will definitely make a difference in your Marketing Campaigns.

Who is TONIC?

TONIC. is a real-time traffic bidding exchange that offers >2b unique visitors per month, via 2 different ad-types: PPR (zero-click redirects from domains, sometimes also called “type-in” traffic) and POPs, both in full-page format. We work on CPC/CPV basis and offer various targeting options like device, OS, keywords/categories adult/non-adult (brand safe), etc…
The minimum bid is just 0.001$ per visitor. It’s an all self-service platform, but we also offer API integration via feed (XML/JSON; special conditions apply). We are famous for our exclusive and high-quality domain traffic portfolio.

STEP 1 — Adding TONIC as Traffic Source

Go to Traffic Source Tab and select >Add New traffic Source, select TONIC and fill the gasp with the information required. Good thing, TONIC has API access open for you

Save your TONIC credentials and click on Test API and get fully integrated

Green Check¡means we are fully Integrated with TONIC and we can start automating all your Campaigns but, We will suggest you add some more steps like — Tokens and Postback

We are about to set up some extra Tokens for TONIC URL. To do so we just need to click on the button > Edit and from the slideout select the option > URL Tokens.

Each time you want to generate a URL for TONIC we will be provided to you by default the following URL:

  • source=[sourceid]— Source subid (those are the ones need it in order to track the siteid)
  • bid=[cpc]— The cost of the visit (how much you pay for a click)
  • pid=[clickid] — The unique ID used for conversion tracking
  • cmp=[campaign_id]— Campaign ID, as registered in their system
  • keyword=[match] — Keyword matched on campaign

So if you need to add some extra Tokens to get more details from your visits you can have a look here:

1.1 — Adding some Extra Tokens:

I am sure you are familiar with TONIC Tokens but it is always good to show /explain them here for you:

  1. [carrier]
  2. [country]
  3. [os]
  4. [device]
  5. [browser]
  6. [campaign_name]

How do I add them? simply choose the Parameter and Token and click on the> + button to add them to your URL.

1.2 — Postback (Optional):

We are missing only one thing to finish the full integration with TONIC, adding their postback :[payout]&clickid=[clickid]

Remember to replace their Tokens for the LandingTrack ones:

. [clickid]={{PID}}

. [payout] = {{PAYOUT}}

You can Copy the following Postback and place it on > Outgoing Postback{{PAYOUT}}&clickid={{PID}}

And that's all, remember to SAVE after all your changes.

STEP 2 — Creating a campaign (Dimension) on LandingTrack

Remember you have three different ways to create a dimension.

1- From an existing Flow see how

STEP 3— Creating a campaign on TONIC

With TONIC we can create 2 different types of campaigns in terms of traffic

  • POP.
  • Zero Click / Redirect.

We will be creating a Pop Campaign

Go to your TONIC account and create the campaign based on the target you need and do not forget to add the LandingTrack name provided for the Campaign and the URL:

Select POP traffic if you want to test their POP traffic or select Zero Click to try their Redirect Traffic (also recommended)

Select your country and right after that Campaign type:

RON: Ron of Network: means running everywhere

Keyword: Only traffic will be bough if your keyword match

Category: Be specific and target your Offer base on TONIC Categories.

Step 2 will be to add your bid, check the traffic estimation and also set TONIC postback (we have seen it above)

After saving the Campaign just wait for approval (usually takes a few minutes as the bid is being placed), so back on LandingTrack let's sync the new campaign.

Go to Traffic Sources, Menu entry and click on TONIC name and then> Refresh button (this action is literally calling TONIC API to look for your All your Campaigns)
