Start Tracking your own Campaigns. LandingTrack Script for product owners.
For those who want to run their own E-commerce, or just promote it’s own product/ brand and cannot track a conversion, with the following Script you will be capable to track user signs up —installs, sales, etc.. on your website.
Let’s get started creating first our Advertiser by clicking on Aff. Network > Activate New Network
Select from the menu > Custom and add your Advertiser/Network Name
Once you have activated it, click on button > Edit.
Since we would like to get a notification such an install or sale, on the section Post Events tick the one you would like to accept postback from.
Small brak here → If you need to notify your Traffic Source we will recommend you to do the same but on Menu Traffic Source on edit under Outgoing
Back on our Affiliate Network section after this small break, we just added an image of our Advertiser :)
Now we can be sure that any event fired by your advertiser/network/script etc.. will be accepted by LandingTrack.
Now let’s have a look at our Script.
We should go to Menu side > Settings > Postback.
As you can see on the Notification Script, we can select three different types of conversions.
1- NONE
2- INSTALL
3- SALE
You can associate each event as you like and place it at every step of the desired action. (ie: sign up, purchase, registration, etc..)
This is an example of a Thank You Page:
You can place the Script within the <body> tag, or the <head> tag. As in the example below. If you would like to track several post-events, you just need to paste the according script in each Thank you Page.
