We think that for this special section we should only talk about rules.
LandingTrack is automation, the first Tracking system that can track and automatize all the Traffic you buy from our API partners. It is time that our bots might start to help you with your daily activity.
1 — Pausar Campa
How important is it to pause a campaign when it is not profitable? How automation can guarantee a minimum loss?
Every time you create a Dimension we should check the daily budget so we will not overspend more than the necessary. On Dimension > Profile we can find our PAUSING Campaigns Rules by clicking on > OPtimization Rules:
One of the first options LandingTrack can offer to you is: Re-activating a Campaign that has been paused for any reason, right the next day; In order to activate that function you just need to check the box next to — Activate campaign next day.
Right after that we always recommend you to set up a Global Budget and a Daily one.
- Global Negative Profit:
Example: pause completely the traffic source that has lost a total of 50$ for a specific campaign/dimension and per DSP. If you are connected to 4 DSP and all of them got paused it will mean you have lost a total of 200$
- Negative Profit per Day:
Example: pause the traffic source that has lost 10$ Today for a specific campaign/dimension and per DSP.” if you have connected 4 DSP and all got paused the same day will mean you have lost a total of 40$ for today.
- Negative Profit per Hour:
Example: pause the traffic source that has lost 10$ in the last hour for this specific campaign/dimension and per DSP. if you have connected 4 DSP and all got paused within the next hour will mean you have lost a total of 40$ in the last hour.
Pause Campaigns Rules:
More controllers need it ¡ — this function will pause those traffic sources that are bringing you negative profit base on hours and days. Keep it simple,
A bit loco when you need to match your Advertiser time zone — your traffic source Time zone and also your Time zone (Too many Time zones) so here we go: Let’s make it easy and add your time range on LandingTrack keep it simple.
For this example LandingTrack will automate your time; Activating the Campaign at 5:00 AM and pausing it at 6:00 PM.
1 — Blocking Source and Banners
Let’s move to the following TAB — OPTIMIZATIONS.
On this TAB we will find all the optimization rules to block those nonconverting sources or banners. Automation is the key to focus your work on what matters, letting our bots do that “monkey job”.
Click on > Create a new Ruleset and start typing your name and select if you want to block: SOURCES or BANNERS.
Once you have SAved your rules it is time to start creating yours. LandingTrack can block Sources and banners base on:
COST — CLICKS — IMPRESSIONS — REVENUE — PROFIT and BOTS.
The logic behind it is quite simple: IF…. Greate or Lesser Than …. And IF…. Greate or Lesser than…… THEN: BLOCK.
In order to Enable your Rule just click on > Config and Enable the rule
Select your TIME INTERVAL: All Period / 3–6 hours or 2–6 days
Below we will explain the ones we just create for this example:
Rule 1 — BLock when NO LEAD: we have set up a rule that if a websiteID/SubID sends more than 560 clicks and there is no conversion then BLOCK.
Rule2 — BOT Rule: we have set up a rule that any websiteID/SubID that has more than 23% of bot traffic then BLOCK.
Rule 3 — Banners low Performance: we have set up a rule that if a websiteID/SubID sends more than 20k impressions and we obtain less than 550 clicks and there is no conversion then BLOCK the Banner.
Remember that we run our little BOTS every minute so we do guarantee what happens after one minute but we cannot what happens within that minute.
Harry up¡ Traffic is coming:
Again, these are the benefits of automation, working with tools that can help you out of your activity; We will not the whole funnel for you but at least we will be helping you every minute.
