What is ExoClick?

STEP 1 — Getting the API KEY from your ExoClick Account:

In order to create your API token on your ExoClick Account click on your Profile on the right side of the screen and select -

The sooner you have Access to this view you can do the connect with LandingTrack

STEP 2 — Adding ExoClick as Traffic Source

Go to Traffic Source Tab and select >Add New traffic Source, select ExoClick and fill the gasp with the information required.

Just add your ExoClick Mail (User) and your Password login and Save.

Next view after saving will be the Test API :

Click on > Check api button

Now that we are synchronized with ExoClick let’s have a look on > Edit button.

The following Parameters and Tokens will be provided by default for each ExoClick URL :

  • source={zone_id} — ID of the ad zone where the ad is displayed.
  • bid={cost} — Cost of click or impression.
  • pid={conversions_tracking} — Clickid of the conversion.
  • cmp={campaign_id} — ID of the campaign.
  • keyword={category_id} — ID of the category detected.

EXAMPLE: ?portal=exoclick&d=5c3484df9594ca1ff43aec07&source={zone_id}&bid={cost}&pid={conversions_tracking}&cmp={campaign_id}&keyword={category_id}

So if you need to add some extra Tokens to track in a more detail manner you can have a look here:

1.1 — Adding some Extra Tokens:

I am sure you are familiar with ExoClick Tokens but it is always good to show /explain them here for you:

  • {variation_id} : Creative ID
  • {external_id} : External ID.
  • {site_id} : Site ID
  • {country} : Country
  • {format} : Format
  • {src_hostname} : Domain

Back into your LandingTrack Account Click on >Traffic Sources Tab>button Edit for ExoClick> Params section:

Adding Extra Tokens to your URL’s, do not forget to save after adding them.

1.2— Postback (Optional):

We are missing only one thing to finish the full integration with ExoClick, adding their postback :

http://main.exoclick.com/tag.php?goal=[GOAL_ID]&tag=[TRACKER]

Remember to replace their Tokens for the LandingTrack ones:

. [TRACKER] by {{PID}}

.[GOAL_ID] — this Parameter should be replaced by the fix Token ExoClick will provide you — Check bellow how to create it*

You can Copy/Paste the following postback: http://main.exoclick.com/tag.php?goal=[GOAL_ID]&tag={{PID}} into your LandingTrack ExoClick integration.
  • Creating a fix Goal on Exoclick Dashboard:

We are on Exoclick Dashboard, this time we will check the Campaign TAB and specifically Conversion Tracking.

Once you are on the Conversion Tracking section, click on NEW TAG button to generate a new Goal ID for their postback.

Name your New Goal ID

Right after saving a new Goal ID will be generated, simple copy and replace it by their Token.

Copy your New goal ID and replace it on ExoCilck postback by [GOAL_ID]

So your postback should be like this one: http://main.exoclick.com/tag.php?goal=ca12127d5f119873631a621557cf5&tag={{PID}}

STEP 2 — Creating a campaign (Dimension) on LandingTrack

Remember you have three different ways to create a dimension.

1- From an existing Flow see how

2- From Menu Offerssee how

3- From Dimension Menu: see bellow

Click on button > New Dimension

You will be redirected to our Dimension creator.

First, we will recommend you to click on the pencil right bellow the bucket to add your Campaign Name, at the same time you will see displayed all your offers with the name and status (right side), click on the left arrow button to add them to your Dimension.

As you can see, now we have added two offer on our dimension and if we like to add more we just need to click on the left arrow next to the offer “Play Sweeptakes US_cpa”

Getting the URL for ExoClick

Click on button > Add Campaign and select ExoClick as your traffic source, then your Domain and the Traffic type. Copy the name and URL we provide you with:

Copy the Name and URL we provide to you and paste them on ExoClick Campaign fields.

STEP 4. Creating a campaign on ExoClick

You can create Nine different types of campaigns with ExoClick and LandingTrack:

1- Banner

2- Email clicks

3- IN stream

4- Mobile banner

5- Native Ads

6- Push notifications

7- Popunders

8- Tab directlink

9- Web instant messenger

A quick view of Push/Native Ads campaign Creation:

Log in to your ExoClick Account and click on > Campaigns and select New Campaign:

We are about to create a Push Campaign on Exoclick Platform. Remember to write the same name LandingTrack provide to you, select your Ad format and then your Category.

Remember to select your Category among their options.

When you click on button ADD VARIATIONS:

Add as many as you like or a single one to start with

After filling all your General Details let's move to Point 2: Targeting & Advanced

Set up your Advance Targeting such us Country, Browser / Carrier / Language etc.. once you have finished, move to Point 3: PRICING

PRICING section is basically where you can set your bid per click/impression and also the format of buying:

1- Smart CPM (will mean how much are you willing to pay per click/Impression) and will never bid higher than that.

2- CPM: fix price per impressions

3- CPC: fix price per click.

Once you have finished let's move to Point 4: Sites & Zones

The last step before finishing our Campaign — if you have already your White/Black list is the right moment to add it. Then click on the button CREATE on the right button side of your screen.

Done¡ — check next view to copy the ID of your campaign

Now simply Copy the Campaign ID from Exoclick and go to your Dimension Profile, click on button > SYNC and select Exoclick. Paste the Campaign ID and Search.

Back to your Dimension profile, you will see:
