LandingTrack — Campaign Overview

We are about to get traffic to our Offers through the Campaign we just created.

But before move on we will just remind you how to create a Campaign:

— Creating a Campaign.

Select the Offers from the Menu side > Offers by checking the box next to it and then click on button > Actions.

Right After that just select Create Campaign. This action will redirect you to itś new profile.

1- Profile

This is your Campaign Profile, First, we will review the configuration section:


1.1 Edit Button

  • Name of the Campaign: Change/modify your Campaign Name
  • Description/Notes: Add notes to communicate with your Team or just to remember your settings/targets
  • Flow: Each Campaign can have a unique/custom flow but you will always have the ability to modify its whole flow by attaching a new template one.

CHECK: Add a Template Flow to your new Campaign.

  • Distribution: Change or NOT our default algorithm to rotate offers differently. Ask your AM for more details.
  • Bot Control: Set our Bot control to catch all bot traffic, stay safe. In addition, you might want to use our BreakIframe tool. Ask your AM for more details.
  • Publisher Payout: Set up your new margin to notify conversions to your Affiliate or Traffic Source. This option is to Buy CPA/CPI/CPL etc..(Performance) traffic instead of CPM/CPC.
  • Cost Range: A new security to block those “hack” subids/placementids etc.. that will probably send you fake visits with a way higher bid, messing your stats. Example: If you are paying 8$ CPM, any visit higher than 8$ CPM — won't pass through LandingTrack so you should set up: 0.008 as you will be paying that amount per click.

Get Campaign URL

Click to get generate your DSP/Traffic Sources Campaign URL:

— Traffic Sources to work with Automation

You will need to complete 3 Steps.

1- Select your traffic Source. Note that after selecting your Traffic source you might want to add:

1.1 — Banner Parameter and Token to your URL or

1.2 — Encrypt your Traffic Source Name.

2- Select your Domain

3- Select the type of Traffic. If it’s Mainstream or Adult.

Once you have selected them all, LandingTrack will generate a Campaign Name and Campaign URL:

Button Sync

Every time you create a campaign on the DSP side, you must sync with LandingTrack — you can do that with the Campaign ID generated for your Campaign on the DSP side

or just going to Menu Traffic Source, click on the DSP name and then button> Refresh; This will actually make a Global API call to your DSP account to sync all your Campaigns.

Set your Optimization Rules

You should do it before starting to get traffic. The following ones are only to PAUSE the Campaign.

How to know the price for each click if your DSP/Traffic source is not capable to share it with you?

This is the right feature to adjust the price for each click you get. Click on Cost per Click button and select the DSP / Traffic Source you are working with and the select the price per Click

Once it’s added just saved.

Now we can be 100% sure that each click coming from Outbrain will be count as $0.004

This TAB has been made to create your Blocking rules. Where you will build your rules to block sources and banners.

Click on + Create a new Ruleset and write the name of your rule, remember to select the options below: Sources or Banners.

Once you have created your First rule click on Config to make it Enable and select a Time interval among:

All period

3 hours — 6 hours

2 days — 6 days

Then save your Changes.

Remember you can create as many rules as you like but we will advise you to keep it simple ;)

As you can see in the image below, all the offers have been set on a Path named it: Fallback — this means that all the traffic you might receive will rotate among those offers in that Fallback Path.


Fallback is the place where all non-targeted clicks will end. We recommend you to set up worldwide offers that allow any kind of traffic. As you can see the weight for this particular path is -1, this guarantee that any click not matching your paths will end up here.

Our gold mine is here, all the different subids/placements/zoneids … will be listed in the Source TAB. Impressions, clicks (visits to your Landing page), leads, revenue, Cost, Profit, ROI, and EPV will be shown in this TAB. Besides that, you can Block manually non converting or suspicious subids.

How to block them manually?

  1. Bulk: Select the one you would like to block by clicking on the> Tick the box next to the status columm and then click on > ActionsBlock or Unblock.
  2. Individually: On the Status column, click on the name > Active and Block. We can guarantee that your source was blocked

The following TAB will monitor the performance of your Banners, you can Block and Unblock them manually and filter the activity by Traffic Source.

Remember that Impression will come always with a delay as LandingTrack is not hosting the Banner.

In order to block a Banner Manually just click on the Status and then Block. If you want to check the reason why a Banner was Blocked just click on the Status and LandingTrack will tell you the reason why.

The stats displayed will belong to this Campaign. First, click on> Filters and apply yours and then play with our Primary — Secondary & Tertiary options.

After applying your filters you can select the following options to see it on your stats.
