Thinking about starting automating all your Campaigns with LandingTrack and Active Revenue?

Automation has come to help all of us to be more efficient in our daily work. Bots are actually made to help us, to do the hard task and make our work easier. The integration between Active Revenue and LandingTrack will definitely make a difference in your Marketing Campaigns.

Who is Active Revenue?

Active Revenue DSP is a self-serve DSP which allows advertisers access to high performing ad units, granular targeting, real-time bidding on CPM/CPC and multiple optimization capabilities.

The available ad-formats are

1- Push Notification.

2- Native.

3- Banner /Display.

4- Zero Click / Redirect.

5- Pop

STEP 1 — Adding Active Revenue as Traffic Source

Go to Traffic Source Tab and select >New traffic Source; from the Menu on your right side select the option >Integrated DSPs, from the list, displayed select > Active Revenue. In order to connect with them, you will need a total of 2 fields to be filled.

Select Integrated DSPs and from the list > Active Revenue

From the list displayed look for Active Revenue. In order to connect with them, you will need to provide only two fields.

1- User: Your Active Revenue login

2- Password: Your Active Revenue Password

Just add your Active Revenue users and password to connect with.

After click on the button > Connect we have an extra step — Check API, click on it.

Click on Check API to sync both Accounts.

The slide out will show to you your credentials, check them and if all looks good click on orange button> Check API

Just confirm your data and > Check API

Green Check¡means we are fully Integrated with Active Revenue but, We will suggest you add some more steps like — URL Tokens and Outgoing Postback

Integration is almost done¡

Now that we are synchronized with Active Revenue let’s have a look on > Edit button.

The following Parameters and Tokens will be provided by default for each Active Revenue URL :

  • source={source_subid}— Source subid (those are the ones need it in order to track the siteid)
  • bid={bid} — The cost of the visit (how much you pay for a click)
  • pid={conversion} — The unique ID used for conversion tracking
  • cmp={campaign} — Campaign ID, as registered in their system
  • keyword={keyword} — Keyword matched on campaign

So if you need to add some extra Tokens to get more details from your visits you can have a look here:

1.1 — Adding some Extra Tokens:

I am sure you are familiar with Active Revenue Tokens but it is always good to show /explain them here for you:

  1. {browser}Browser
  2. {os}Operation system
  3. {carrier}Visitor’s ISP
  4. {query}Keyword sent by the publisher
  5. {user_agent}User agent
  6. {country}Two-letter visitor’s country (ISO 3166–2)
  7. {state}Visitor’s state
  8. {city}Visitor’s city
  9. {zip}Visitor’s postal code (if available)
  10. {banner}Ad ID

How do I add them? simply choose the Parameter and Token and click on the> + button to add them to your URL.

Adding Extra Tokens for your URL’s, do not forget to save after adding them.

1.2 — Postback (Optional):

We are missing only one thing to finish the full integration with Active Revenue, adding their postback :

Remember to replace their Tokens for the LandingTrack ones:

. {your_conversion_parameter} ={{PID}}

. {your_payout_parameter} = {{PAYOUT}}

You can Copy the following Postback and place it on > Outgoing Postback: https://xml.activerevenue.com/conversion?c={{PID}}&count=1&value={{PAYOUT}}

Replace Active Revenue Tokens by the LandingTrack ones and SAVE.

STEP 2 — Creating a campaign (Dimension) on LandingTrack

Remember you have three different ways to create a dimension.

1- From an existing Flow see how

2- From Menu Offerssee how

3- From Dimension Menu: see bellow

First, we will recommend you to click on the pencil right bellow the bucket to add your Campaign Name, at the same time you will see displayed all your offers with the name and status (right side), click on the left arrow button to add them to your Dimension.

As you can see, now we have added two offer on our dimension and if we like to add more we just need to click on the left arrow next to the offer “Play Sweeptakes US_cpa”

Getting the URL for Active Revenue

Click on button > + Add Campaign and select Active Revenue as your traffic source, then select your Domain and your Traffic Segment; Finally, copy the name and URL we provide you with:

IMPORTANT: Copy the Full name that we provide you with and the Full URL:

REMEMBER: Use the Dimension name on Active Revenue Campaign Name and LandingTrack URL for the Campaign URL.

STEP 3 — Creating a campaign on Active Revenue & LandingTrack

With Active Revenue we can create 4 different types of campaigns in term of traffic

  • Pop
  • Zero Click / Redirect.
  • Native.
  • Banner
  • Push Notification.

We are going to show you how to create a Push Campaign on Active Revenue. The first action, click on > Campaigns.

“Interface speaking, the majority of the Campaign creation steps are pretty similar, excluding the part of Creatives, that will be different depending on the Ad Campaign type.”

1-Budgets & Limits

First steps will be Adding your Campaign Name — REMEMBER it must be the one LandingTrack provide you with, your Total budget and Daily budget and finally the BID — it is a CPC model: You will be paying for each click the visitor (user) will make in your Ad.

Followed by the Browser and Connecting Type — check that you can select multiple Carriers.

4-Creatives: Here is where you will add your Advertiser Materials:

Title: note you can add the following tokens: {city} & {country} — so the user will see on the message his city and country

Description: note you can add the following tokens: {city} & {country} — so the user will see on the message his city and country

Destination URL: Your Campaign URL

Call to Action

Main Images: recommend size: 492x328

Icon Image: recommend size: 192x192

You can add multiple Ads and track them by adding the following token in your Campaign URL: {banner}

After saving the Campaign just wait for its approval (usually takes a few minutes), copy the Campaign ID provided by Active Revenue and come back to LandingTrack

Copy the ID of your campaign

Go back to your Dimension Profile and Sync the campaign with Active Revenue by clicking on > Sync button and selecting Active Revenue, paste the Campaign ID:
